What I treat

I provide a combination of medication management and trauma informed psychotherapy. In particular, I offer a combination of CBT and EMDR.

My treatment philosophy is grounded in the belief that every behavior made sense when it first formed. Change becomes possible only when we’re willing to see these patterns clearly—not just the dysfunctional or painful parts, but also the ways they once reflected something good or protective in us. Change can be hard, but is always possible, and medication can play an important role in this process.

My practice is best suited for those seeking help with depression, anxiety, mood regulation, or trauma. I focus on treating major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias, PTSD, complex PTSD, and ADHD. I do not turn patients away because of the severity or complexity of their history; if you are seeking help for these conditions, I feel confident I can help.

I am not the right clinician for primary concerns related to psychosis from schizophrenia spectrum disorders, active substance use, eating disorders, gender dysphoria, severe behavioral challenges from autism, psychiatric symptoms of dementia, or paraphilic/sexual disorders. While I can address these at a general level, I believe the best care comes from specialists in those areas.

My approach is pragmatic: the most effective treatment is the one you are genuinely prepared to engage in. I will offer recommendations, but the choice is always yours. My aim is for patients to feel empowered and supported, not coerced.
